Being In Power

To be in power is to make an offer that is not attached to being received. True power needs nothing. It is an "is-ness" that cannot be diminished.

True power needs nothing. It is an "is-ness" that cannot be diminished.

We each have something beautiful within to share in the world.

The best gifts are little pieces of us dug up deep from within. Often by adulthood, they are held within guarded fortresses and the protectors make sure that we get only limited access and rarely allow them to be shared.

Those protectors tell us what we have to share isn't important or it has already been said. They convince us that we'll look weird or dumb and people will ostracize us. Evidence to the contrary will be rejected -- if a compliment is received, those protectors will try to convince us it was insincere or forced.

The way past those protectors is by accessing and operating from the place of power within. When we can tap in and express from the place where that inner power lives there's magic that happens.

When our offer to the world comes from and through that place of true power, it bypasses all the protectors because it is not attached to being received. It derives all it needs purely through the acts of creation and expression.

Although it doesn't need to be received, words spoken and actions taken from that place of deep power often resonate especially strongly because authenticity is recognized. The power is tapped into expressing a truth that connects us all. There is a strength and solidity that draws others in. Not everybody, but some.

Many will be oblivious to the offer. That's okay, this means they aren't meant to be part of it. True power needs nothing. It is an "is-ness" that cannot be diminished.

Those it draws in become co-creators, amplifying the power and truth of the message simply by receiving it. The connection is deepened. The receiving and seeing is the gift offered in return.
